Roles & Permissions
Overview
Access in the IMS is controlled by roles. Each user is assigned one or more roles, and each role grants access to specific parts of the application and determines which widgets are available on their dashboard.
Roles are managed by administrators at Settings → Users.
Built-in Roles
Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Full access to all features, all dashboard widgets, and all settings. |
| Can view and process incoming orders and returns. |
| Focuses on confirmed orders ready for packing and shipping. |
| Manages products and stock levels; can receive new inventory. |
| Read-only access for audit and reporting purposes. No dashboard widgets. |
| External API vendor accounts. Dashboard shows returns, stock alerts, and shipping alerts. |
