Overview
What is MADA IMS?
MADA IMS (Inventory Management System) is a web-based platform for managing the full lifecycle of licensed inventory — from receiving stock and fulfilling orders to processing returns. It is used by internal staff to manage day-to-day operations.
Key Concepts
Products
The catalog items tracked by the IMS (e.g. Standard Plate, Sticker). Each product has a SKU, title, category, and order quantity limits. Individual serialized units are tracked as inventory items linked to a product.
Orders
Requests from dealers for inventory. Orders are submitted by EVTR vendors via the API and move through a lifecycle: Pending → Confirmed → Processing → Shipped → Delivered. Orders can also be Cancelled at any point before shipment. Fulfilment and shipping are handled via ShipStation.
Returns
Submissions from dealers sending inventory back. A return specifies the product type, serial number range, and a reason (Damaged, Obsolete, etc.). Returns are submitted by EVTR vendors via the API and move through: Created → Completed (or Cancelled/Error/Missing In Transit).
Dealers
The recipients of orders. Each dealer has a name, dealer number, contacts, and one or more shipping addresses.
